Thomas Ertveldt

Thomas Ertveldt is a Postdoctoral researcher at the "Molecular Imaging and Therapy" (MITH) research group at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. His work and interests focus on nuclear imaging and targeted radiation therapies in malignancies. He successfully completed his Doctorate in Medicine in October 2023, funded by a personal FWO-SB scholarship grant (grant#: 1S06622N). With a background as a lab technician and a master's degree in biomedical sciences, Thomas has several first-author papers in renowned journals such as the Journal of Nuclear Medicine (JNM) and Theranostics. His notable achievements include the Alavi-Mandell Award and a shared BACR 2020 Poster Prize.
