Dora Mugoli Chigoho

Dora Chigoho studied Pharmaceutical sciences at Universiteit Antwerpen where she obtained a Master of Drug Development and graduated as a pharmacist. She did her Master's thesis at the Molecular Imaging and Therapy (MITH) research group under the supervision of dr. Jessica Bridoux and prof. dr. Catarina Xavier. During her Master's thesis, she acquired knowledge and experience on galium-68-immunolabeling using nanobodies targeting human-PD-L1 receptors. Dora started her PhD in October 2020 at MITH focusing on unraveling the renal pathway of labeled nanobodies under the supervision of prof. dr. Sophie Hernot. Her research aims to enhance the understanding of the pharmacokinetics of Nanobodies and to develop nanobodies with reduced kidney retention.
